Butts, Guts & Tabata- Sundays from 3-4pm
Wondering what all the buzz is about Tabata? Don't believe a 4 minute routine can produce results? Come find out for yourself. Vanessa will lead you through a 4 minute Tabata cardiovascular workout, followed by 40 minutes of Tabata-styled strength and toning exercises designed to target the glutes and abdominals. The Tabata method has been shown to increase both aerobic and anaerobic fitness; and isn't everyone looking to tighten up their butts and guts? All that's required is a towel and a water bottle, but you overachievers are welcome to bring dumbbells, leg weights, and/or kettle bells.Zumba with Lue on Friday evenings at 6:30pm starting January 6. When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training, dance fitness party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Boot Camp with Vanessa is a total body workout, combining cardiovascular work and strength-building exercises. After a short but intense cardiovascular segement, participants move from sation to station for exercises designed to strengthen the upper and lower body while keeping the heart rate elevated. The Boot Camp concludes with core-strengthening and stretching exercises. The variety of exercises are designed to "shock" the body to maximize aerobic and anaerobic improvement, weight loss, and overall conditioning and toning. All you need is a towel and a "can do" attitude, but particpants wanting to take it up a notch are welcome to bring light dumbbells and/or ankle weights. Click here to sign up.
